Album bound in paperback, 350 x 270 mm, containing an engraved titlepage showing the main monuments and symbols of the city, and 55 enfraved views of Rome (approximately 195 x 150 mm), of which only six were engraved by Acquaroni, the remainder being engraved by A. Parboni from drawings either by the engraver himself or by S. Bossi. Published in Rome by Augusto Volpari, in 1870: Proprietà di Augusto Volpari, Via Condotti n. 69/Roma/1870.

All plates bear the name of the draughtsman and engraver beneath the image. Paperback with title and price printed on the plate "55 VEDUTE DI ROMA E TIVOLI /12 LIRE/ Presso A. VOLPARI Via Condotti N. 69".
