The plate depicts the apparatus that was built in Piazza S. Francesco in Pistoia, in 1791, on the occasion of the feast of St. James, reusing the structures created for the performance of two years earlier.

The representation was The liberation and the triumph of Despina, taken from Niccolò Forteguerri's Ricciardetto.

Good example, printed on contemporary laid paper, wide margins, center fold, generally in very good condition. Rare.
