Ladislaus Rupp was a Viennese artist and engraver and a mosaicist, best known for his depictions of Italian architecture in etching and aquatint. He was a student of Giacomo Raffaelli in Milan, where he spent most of his life. Rupp produced a series of topographical views of important sites in Italy, probably marketed as souvenirs to foreign visitors on the Grand Tour. He contributed plates to works published by Ferdinando Artaria in Milan, including Il Duomo di Milano (1823) and, with Carlo Gilio, Eglises principales de l’Europe (c. 1830).
