Still-life with various fine vessels, fruits in a dish and flowers in a vase at left, small cups and sugar cubes at centre, coffee pot nearby; after Berne-Bellecour.
Etching, published in 'L'Art', 1876, volume VI.
A good impression on contemporary laid paper, with margins, very good condition.

Painter and etcher, pupil of Glayre. This artist sent a painting to the Saloon in 1859, which afterwords took a medal at Besancon. Is first exhibithed etching was 1861, after Rousseau, called "Storks taking a siesta". Is "Screen of Saint-Etienne-du- Mont" received honorable mention in Paris and a medal at Wien. Greux as contirbuted to the "Gazette des beaux-arts" and for "L'Art".
