Description
Popular costume from the famous collection Musèe de costumes, a collection of lithographs printed in Paris by Imprimerie Moine for Editions Ancienne Maison Aubert between 1850 and 1853. The work is divided into several volumes; the Italian costumes are in the volume entitled Italie, Piemont.
This is a great iconographic enterprise on popular costume that saw several designers in the field.
E. Deshayes, Adolphe d'Hastrel and Olivier Perrin. The plates were mainly made in lithography by Laurent-Francois Guerdet.
Beautiful original coloring, in very good condition.
