Aquatint, signed at lower left, below image "A. Lazzari dis. and inc."
Exemplar in very good condition, taken from the work "Itinerario interno e delle isole e della città di Venezia inciso e descritto in quattro parti" in the 1832 edition of the Venetian printer Antonelli.
Antonio Lazzari (1798-1834), draughtsman and engraver, was a pupil of Cipriani. Trained at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Venice, Lazzari excelled in the technique of aquatint, to which he devoted much of his artistic production.
