Christoph Friedrich Wilhelm Streit was a Prussian officer, cartographer and author of several mathematics books.

Streit was an engineer and mathematician in the Prussian artillery. He held a doctorate, was a Prussian Major (ret.) and a member of the Academie nützlicher Wissenschaften at Erfurt and the Gesellschaft für Erdkunde in Berlin. From 1807 to 1817 he was director of the map department of the Geographical Institute in Weimar.

Christoph Friedrich Wilhelm Streit (* 29 January 1772; † 12 June 1839 in Berlin) was a Prussian officer, cartographer and author of several mathematics books. Streit was an engineer and mathematician in the Prussian artillery. He held a doctorate, was a Prussian Major (ret.) and a member of the Academie nützlicher Wissenschaften at Erfurt and the Gesellschaft für Erdkunde in Berlin. From 1807 to 1817 he was director of the map department of the Geographical Institute in Weimar. Under his direction, the Topographisch-militairische Charte von Teutschland was produced.
