Map without graphic scale.Orientation provided by a wind rose in the Adriatic Sea, north is at the top. Graduation in the margins, from degree to degree, from 37° 42' to 45° 50' latitude and from 27° 30' to 44° longitude.

Third state of the small-format map of Italy by Domenico Zenoi, representing a reduction of his earlier map of 1567 (Bifolco-Ronca tav. 917). The first edition has a long dedication in the cartouche: Al Mag.co S.or NICOLO Loppomani dignis.mo sopra comito, nell’armata dell jllustrissima S.ria di Venetia. 70. humil servo dominco zenoni.

It is printed by Orazio Bertelli, while the previous model was published by Donato Bertelli; the possible relationship between the two is not known. Orazio is the publisher of only three maps, all of small format, which are occasionally included in the Civitatum aliquot insignorum et locorum magis monitorum exacta delineation cum additione aliquot Insularum principalium, the atlas "pocket" of the Bertelli family. The second state of the plate is edited by Pietro Bertelli and shows a completely new title: ITALIA con LA DESCRITTIONE delle Provincie, Regni, Citta, Castelli, Monti, Mari, Fiumi, Laghi che sono in essa. Pietro Bertelli Fecce.

This third version, edited by the small publisher Leonardo Pittoni, can be dated back to the 17th century; the title remains the same and retains Pietro Bertelli's address.

Etching and engraving, printed on contemporary laid paper, with margins, small perfectly restored tear on verso, in excellent condition. The work is extremely rare: only 3 examples of this third state are described in Bifolco-Ronca.
