View taken from the Raccolta delle più belle vedute della città e porto di Livorno, Giuseppe Maria Terreni, Livorno, printed in Livorno, by Giuseppe M. Terreni, in 1783.

This is a rare work of oblong format in-folio, consisting of engraved title page, dedication to Peter Leopold, plan of the city and 17 numbered tables, engraved in copper by Berardi, Daniotto, Fambrini, Galli and Nerici.

Plate in the first state of two, printed by Terreni. The plates were later reprinted with imprint “In Livorno Presso Giacomo Aliprandi”.

 

Magnificent proof, printed on contemporary laid paper, in perfect condition. Untrimmed copy.
