The Tourist in Switzerland and Italy is the first of nine volumes known as The Landscape Annual. Subsequent volumes cover Italy, then France and Spain.
The work, illustrated with engravings from drawings by the English painter Samuel Prout, J. D. Harding and others, was printed in London between 1830 and 1838.
