Description

View of the Siracusa's cathedral from a subject of W. Leitch.

Taken from Italy Illustrated, a complete History of the past and present condition of the Italian States by W. C. Stafford and Charles Ball, published in London in 1860 and 1861.

The work contains views of the main english artists of the Grand Tour period, re-proposing engravings, even of thirty years earlier, already included in other publications.

Copperplate, finely hand-coloured, in very good condition.
